Simple moisturizing cream recipe

This recipe is the simplest version possible and very easy to make. Just be present to what you do. Take a deep breath, pull out all the ingredients, measure properly, follow instructions. Using organic ingredients is recommended as much as possible.
Ingredients:
Oils:
¾ cup almond oil (sesame oil for those with allergies to nuts)
1/3 cup coconut oil
½ oz beeswax
¼ tsp vitamine E
Liquids:
2/3 cup distilled water or lavender hydrolate
1/3 cup aloe vera gel
Essential oils:
10 drops lavender
5 drops geranium
5 drops clary sage
6 drops blood orange
2 drops german chamomile, mint or sandalwood
Method:
1. Sterilize 11 jars (50mg) or equivalent
2. Melt beeswax in almond and coconut oil over medium heat. DO NOT BOIL
3. Whip aloe vera gel, hydrolate with a hand-held mixer
4. Pour the liquid mix in the oil mix until you get a mayonnaise consistency
5. Add the essential oils and vitamine E, mix again
6. Pour in the jars
7. Once the cream in the jars has cooled off, put the lids on.
8. Label your jars with name of product, ingredients and date; decorate
9. Keep jars you don’t use in a cool, dry and dark place
10. To prolong life of your cream, make sure your fingers are clean and dry before dipping in the jar.

  2. Hi Annie,
No, never used plantain in a salve but have heard great things about it. Have you? May just try it at some point. Let me know how it goes when you make the recipe.
